What we are doing now:
- Developing Partnerships in order to: Aid, Connect and Resource missionaries.
- Developing Resources to help missionaries fundraise for their time of service on the field.
- Developing Relationships with nationals in local communities to develop job skills so they can provide for their families.
- Currently supporting 1 overseas missionary.
- Researching materials necessary for successful life on the mission field.
- Currently providing housing for one missionary during furlough.
- Developing support modules and re-entry plans for missionaries in different states of transition requiring different levels of aid.
What we will do in the future:
- Aid in communication and navigating logistical challenges for missionaries returning from the field for a time of furlough or itinerating.
- Connecting missions minded people with local churches who provide ministry training programs.
- Resource development for funding and fair trade opportunities to support missionaries.
- Educate missions minded individuals before being sent to the field, by providing them with materials that will help them be successful on the field.
What we need to make it happen:
- Partnerships with local mission organizations to provide advice and direction for future goal setting.
- Board of Directors composed of interested individuals who will help protect DBM from drifting away from the vision and core values.
- Organizational chart to map out future growth of DBM and recognize specific staffing needs.
- Flow missions minded individuals willing to go through DBM and aid in field research to make the missions experience easier for others who come behind them.
